If you didn't know... A fan-made show based on the world created by Mike and Bryan in the popular TV show, Avatar: The Last Airbender, is being made.
Avatar: The DoD was originally created by Chris Hawkins (also known as Serial Kiffer), but the number of developers working on the show has greatly increased over the past few months... And what started off as a solo writers Fan Fic, has spawned into a massive group effort, run by dedicated fans and extremely creative individuals. Without whom, this project wouldn't have even gotten off the ground.
Show description:
50 years have passed since the end of the Avatar: The Last Airbender, in which Avatar Aang defeated Fire Lord Ozai and ended the century-long War with the Fire Nation. Much has changed... Aang and Katara raised their airbending granddaughter in the South Pole. Fire Lord Zuko has reigned with Mai for half a century, working for peace between the Nations. Most importantly, though, Avatar Aang died 5 years ago, and the identity of the new Avatar is still unknown...
Avatar: The Dawning of Darkness follows the adventures of new characters, including some of the grandchildren of characters from The Last Airbender. While characters from the old show will make occasional appearances, they will not be the focus. This is about a new story, a new generation, and a new danger.
Additionally, Avatar: DoD will expand on the current world of Avatar, introducing new histories, new abilities, and new possibilities. Make no mistake: this show is based on the familiar Avatar universe, but features a brand new, original story!
